About
a word from your officers...
Even though our 2020-2021 season may be completely online due to COVID-19, you can trust that we will do our absolute best to give you the authentic Science Olympiad experience!

PRESIDENT
Hanna O-Lee
Hey cougars, I'm Hanna, and I'm so excited to serve as your president this year! I was first involved with Science Olympiad in eighth grade on Challenger's team and fell in love with the whole experience: hardcore studying, late-night prepping, travelling to Reno, and bonding with my event partners. Now that we're in high school, the competition level has definitely been elevated, and I aim to help guide and provide you with everything you need for success. Going into the unpredictable 2020-21 Science Olympiad season, I beyond excited to work alongside all of you this year!

VICE PRESIDENT
Amy Cho
Hi everyone! My name is Amy, and I'm one of your team captains this year <3 I absolutely loved Science Olympiad in middle school, which is why I founded our school's Scioly in freshman year! Scioly taught me so many things that you just can't learn inside a classroom. Not only is it a learning experience, it's a fun and enjoyable one! Our season this year will definitely be different from ones in the past, but I hope we can still bring back that Scioly fun.

HISTORIAN
Anthony Belmonte
Hello fellow Science Olympiad Members! I'm Anthony and I am proud to serve as your Historian for the 2020-21 term! First exposed to Science Olympiad the beginning of last school year, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. I only knew that I had a peculiar interest in science, and Scioly cultivated it even more! In the meetings, I made lots of laughs, memories, and experiences with friends and peers while simultaneously diving deeper into some of the world's unique properties fueled by science. Hopefully this year we are able to spark your interests in science through our events and meetings!
